How do I make an appointment? If you wish to make an appointment, please email us, or phone us for a full telephone consultation. Providing you have no contra-indications, we can then agree on a time and a date for your treatment. What is a contra-indication to massage? A contra-indication is a condition which may prevent treatment, or necessitate a modification to the treatment. Examples include broken bones, recent bruising, high blood pressure, infectious diseases or skin conditions. Will you be using oil for the massage? A range of different oils and creams are available, as well as talc powder. Do you massage men? Yes, please be aware that this is a purely professional service and requests for "personal services" will not be tolerated. Do you massage the buttocks? Yes, if required as part of a sports massage. Do I have to get undressed for the massage? Most of the treatments can be performed over clothing. In many cases however, the massage is more effective if an oil or cream is used on the skin. If clothing is removed, the client will be covered in soft towels and only the area being treated will be exposed. Please note that you will not be treated at all if you do not wear underwear as this is a basic requirement of our Code of Ethics. Men will be asked to wear boxer shorts. |
